The city of Guangzhou is a fabulous city just waiting to be explored. There are many attractions just waiting for people to visit. Sound exciting? Well, we can assure you, it is very exciting. Guangzhou has many things to see and do, you would almost never get tired of Guangzhou. We will be staying in Guangzhou for 13 days, we hope that you would enjoy the itinerary we have set up for you.
Week One

Temple of Bright Filial Piety
A buddhist temple initially created by a Indian Buddhist monk some time ago, it’s amazing how this temple still mantains its condition. One of the main attractions of Guangzhou, the Temple of Bright Filial Piety will never cease to amaze.
Guangdong Provincial Museum
The Guangdong Provincial Museum is a great place to further your knowledge of Chinese history. There are many artifacts within this museum, many dating back to Guangzhou’s early developing days. There’s always something new to learn when you visit a museum, and the Guangzhou Provincial Museum is definitely no exception.
Chime-Long Paradise
Of course, once in a while, everybody needs to take a break. That is why we’ve decided for one of our stops to be an amusement park in Guangzhou. The Chime-Long Paradise will surely help you feel better and relive all your stress, it’s an experience that you’ll never forget.
Sacred Heart Cathedral
At this point of the trip, you may be bored with the many religious sites that we visit; but trust us, you’ll definitely enjoy all of them. This roman catholic cathedral stands proud in Guangzhou, seating the archbishop of roman catholic archdiocese of Guangzhou.
Temple of the Six Banyan Trees
This temple is an ancient Buddhist temple that’s creation dates back to 537 A.D, during the time of the Liang dynasty. Regardless of its age, you’d be surprised how much quality still strives in the temple.
Other places we probably will visit are:
- Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall
- Museum of Nanyue King
- White Clouds Mountain
Week Two
(Dates for the Next Package: 23 January 2010 to 28 January 2010)
During this week, you’ll be offered to be brought to various different tourist attractions, but of course, it’s all up to you to pick what you want to do. There are many wonderful places to visit in Guangzhou, though you can spend this extra time honing your Mandarin speaking skills.
Some places you might want to research about are:
- Guangzhou Zoo
- Yuexiu Park
- Chen Ancestral Shrine
Checking Out

On the 29th day of the package, we will be checking out of the Bai Yun Hotel in Guangzhou, and catching our overnight train to Shanghai, China.
