When traveling abroad, it is always imperative that you carry the proper documentation with you. We offer the following advice for citizens of the United States:

• You must bring your passport with at least 1-2 months left until expiry at the time of departure
• A visa must be applied for and fixed in your passport for the country of Vietnam and usually cost US$65 (contact the Vietnamese embassy for more details; Ecolux can arrange these for you at an extra cost)
• Visa waiver programs are in effect for Thailand and Malaysia and US citizens are not required to apply for a visa
